A Father and Daughter’s Shared Path to becoming Certified Teachers

To solve the state’s teacher shortage, we need more people like Jermaine and ShaWanna Bailey. The father-daughter duo from the School District of the City of York followed the same “Grow Your Own” path from paraprofessionals to certified teachers. Now, they’re getting more of their colleagues to join them.
