ACE Program

PSEA’s Advocates for Children and Education (ACE) program is a grassroots advocacy effort that empowers members to advocate for schools, students, and education professions.

ACEs receive advanced training on advocacy and lobbying and frequent policy briefings to help them communicate with legislators. They work in teams to make sure legislators understand what’s happening in schools and classrooms – and what educators and support professionals need to help students succeed.

Every June, hundreds of ACEs travel to Harrisburg for PSEA Lobby Days.

2022 ACE Advocacy Days on the Hill:

June 7, 8
June 14, 15
June 21, 22

Contact ACE Program director Jennifer Statler for information about upcoming trainings for PSEA members who want to join our statewide network of advocates.

"We need to tell our legislators that giving kids a good education involves more than textbooks and standardized tests. Our students need mentoring, role models, and support. Test scores don't - and can't - measure that."
