Eastern Region Professional Development Workshops

Thank you for your interest in Eastern Region's professional development workshops.  Our workshops for 2025-26 have concluded.

2026 Eastern Region Pre-Retirement Series

Are you starting to think about planning your retirement? Eastern Region is in the process of planning a “Virtual” Pre-Retirement Series via Zoom for fall 2026. These workshops are FREE and open to all PSEA members.

The offerings along with details and registration information will be available early fall 2026.

2026 Eastern Region Leadership Conference

“Glow Brighter, Learn Louder!” is the theme of this year’s Eastern Region Leadership Conference.

The Leadership Development Committee and Eastern Region Staff have worked collaboratively to bring you sessions that are relevant to the needs of your local to develop your current leadership, to foster new leadership, and to broaden your knowledge on topics facing our locals.  We have worked to have sessions that cover a wide range of skills and knowledge to keep our novice and veteran members alike engaged and learning the entire conference.

Please note that the Eastern Region House of Delegates will be held on Friday, April 10, at the same location as the Eastern Region Leadership Conference.

Spring Collective Bargaining Workshop

Local Presidents, Chief Negotiators and Negotiating Team Members....

Eastern Region’s Spring Collective Bargaining Workshop, “Bargaining with Difficult Boards,” is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at PSEA Eastern Region Office (4950 Medical Center Circle, Allentown).  Dinner/registration begins at 5 p.m. followed by the workshop at 5:30 p.m.

PSEA Eastern Region Scholarship Scramble (Golf)

PSEA Eastern Region will be holding a Scholarship Golf Outing on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Green Acres Golf Course.  The net proceeds will be used to fund PSEA Eastern Region's Scholarship Program where five (5) scholarships of $1,500 each are awarded to one eligible student in each of our five counties.  For those who are not golfers, please consider sponsoring a hole!  We encourage you to share this information with family and friends.
