Tech teachers get clipped, raise money for cancer research

Voice: May 2017

Cosmetology students at Lenape Technical School lined up to clip some of their teachers. But it was all for a good cause at the Armstrong County school’s first “Shear the Beard’’ event that raised nearly $1,400 for CureSearch, a pediatric cancer foundation.

The event was personal for welding instructor Ted Zablocki, right. He lost his son, Wesley, to cancer in 2015.
