PSEA is recruiting for TWO Associate Labor Representatives (Associate UniServ Representatives - AUR) positions. These positions are temporary (one-year with an option for a second year) and full-time. The AUR is an entry level, developmental position which may lead to placement in our UniServ hiring pool upon successful completion of the applicant testing process. These positions are in the Allentown and State College offices.
UniServs represent and advocate for PSEA members, including bargaining, organizing, and building strong local associations in order to accomplish the mission of our organization.
Associate UniServ Representatives must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. This position will include training and development opportunities with UniServs in all aspects of labor relations.

PSEA is recruiting for two Summer Internship positions. The internship will work mostly in-person in Harrisburg, PA and will work in different divisions to experience various aspects of union work. Applicants should have an interest in labor and education, possess strong interpersonal, problem-solving, research, and writing skills. The individual must also have self-supporting computer skills.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have a career interest in working for PSEA in the future as an Associate UniServ Representative (i.e., field representative) and then, if successful, as a UniServ.
Interns will receive $20 an hour and work 30-40 hours per week. There is a $2,000 housing stipend for candidates outside of the area.

PSEA is looking to fill a full-time, temporary attorney position. The “Associate Staff Counsel” position will be located in Pittsburgh, PA and extends for two years, with a possible third year. The position is similar to a labor and/or education law clerkship. The attorney will support PSEA Staff Attorneys who advise PSEA’s local unions and members in employment-related issues and litigate cases before arbitrators, administrative agencies, and courts.
PSEA is looking for someone who is willing to make a two-to-three-year commitment. Candidates welcome to apply would be a 3L or attorneys beginning their career. This position will be available in September 2023.
