Summer Supplemental Help

PSEA plans to hire ONE college student as Summer Supplemental Help to work in our downtown Harrisburg, PA office. This position will start in late May or early June 2022.

This individual will be performing a variety of jobs at PSEA. In general, the summer help will be providing clerical support (data entry and scanning) and assistance on special projects. Several projects will just be entirely scanning, using PDF Docs, numerous documents and/or binders.

Interviews will be held and the selection will be based on abilities associated with this year's needs.

All candidates will need to be quite familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel. A strong attention to detail is required. This position will have a salary of $15.00 per hour. PSEA will provide parking for the successful candidate.

Chief Financial Officer

PSEA is looking for an experienced financial leader with a proven track record in a similar position. The CFO will be a senior member of the executive management team, reporting to the Executive Director and be responsible for all accounting, payroll, budgeting and property functions. Responsibilities include: ensuring adequate internal controls, timely and accurate financial reporting, forecasting, planning, and continuous improvement in financial and management reporting. This is a “hands-on” position requiring frequent interactions with organization governance, the Executive Director and other senior leadership team members. This position is responsible for ten direct reports and a total team of sixteen.

Ideal candidates will possess an advanced degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field of study. This position requires excellent quantitative, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Prior management and supervisory experience is required.

Upcoming Information Session

Interested in a UniServ Representative Position?

PSEA will be holding an in-person UniServ Information Session on Friday, May 13, 2022. The session will begin at 4:30 PM and is expected to last approximately 90 minutes. The UniServ Information Session will be held during the PSEA House of Delegates at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown Hotel,  201 North 17th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103. The hotel's phone number is 215-448-2000. The session will be held in the Salon 5/6 room.

This session will provide the opportunity to learn more about the nature and demands of this position and how PSEA’s UniServ Selection Process works. Intended for individuals considering a career as a UniServ Representative. 

All attendees will be required to wear surgical, N95 or KN95 masks at all times during the meeting. Cloth masks will not be allowed.
