About the position

The responsibilities of this position include developing and analyzing salary schedule proposals and providing advice to staff and leadership; conducting statistical analyses of salary and health care databases; assembling data and conducting statistical analyses for key labor relations and education issues; reviewing and critiquing labor relations and education studies; developing and delivering expert testimony at fact-finding and arbitration proceedings; analyzing health care plans and developing strategies to improve or maintain benefits at lower costs.

Ideal candidates will possess an advanced degree in Labor Relations, Economics, Organizational Behavior or a relevant field of study. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree will be considered if they can demonstrate high levels of quantitative and statistical skills including experience analyzing large, complex datasets. The position also requires excellent computer knowledge (including a statistical package a plus), quantitative skills, and strong written and verbal skills.
