March 4-5 - PSEA's 5th Annual Special Education Conference
The Penn Stater Hotel & Conference Center
215 Innovation Blvd
State College, PA 16803
PLEASE READ COVID RELATED PROTOCOLS TO ATTEND:
Due to the recent surge in the highly transmissible COVID-19 Omicron variant, PSEA has revisited its safety protocols and is now requiring proof of vaccination at all statewide meetings and events. Proof of vaccination means two doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines and one dose of the Johnson & Johnson. All members will be asked to provide proof of vaccination to enter a committee meeting or event. Your vaccination card or photo of your vaccination card are acceptable means of proof.
Negative test results (including all types of tests, such as PCR or rapid) will not be accepted. If you fail to bring proof of vaccination to a meeting or event, you will be unable to attend the meeting in person.
All members will be required to wear surgical, N95, or KN95 masks at all times during the meeting or event unless they are actively eating or drinking. Cloth masks will not be allowed. If you don’t have a surgical, N95, or KN95 mask, one will be provided to you.
These safety protocols will be in effect for all statewide meetings and events through the end of March, and all committee meetings will have a hybrid option. Safety protocols will be re-examined at the end of March, and a decision will be made to either revise or lift any current safety protocols.”
- While PSEA has put in place preventative measures designed to reduce the spread of COVID-19 during gatherings, members that elect to attend the in-person conference voluntarily assume and accept the increased risk of contracting the COVID-19 virus. Members that attend the conference also acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and are required to wear a mask during the PSEA event.
- The deadline to register for in-person attendance is Feb. 15, 2022. Please note due to Covid related social distancing measures, space will be limited and registration will be closed when we reach the number of attendees that can be safely accommodated. Registrations received after the deadline date will be accepted based upon availability.
