Take a smarter approach to the PSSA testing timeline

Take Action

PSEA is working with elected officials from both parties to reduce high-stakes standardized testing and to take a smarter approach to student assessment in our schools. PSEA is supporting a package of bills to help move Pennsylvania toward that goal.

Send a message to your state lawmakers to support one piece of that package that will require the PA Department of Education to revise the PSSA testing schedule so that PSSAs are given three weeks prior to Memorial Day. The bill also requires all PSSA and Keystone Exam results to be provided to a chief school administrator no later than Aug. 15.
