West Chester ESPs feed needy families

West Chester Area ESPs have literally put food on the table this holiday season.
The local, with the assistance of caseworkers, identified 16 families to receive all the essentials for a Thanksgiving meal. The same was done for another 16 families at Christmas.
One family was selected from each of the West Chester Area School District’s 16 schools, and ESP members packed bags for each family.
“It’s all about our students and we want to make sure their families are fed during this holiday season,’’ Minnie Porter, co-president of the West Chester Area ESPs told The Daily Local in Chester County. “We are a tight-knit community. Where there is a need, the people are there.’’
