PSEA members step up to battle food insecurityNo family should experience food insecurity. That's why PSEA members across Pennsylvania are delivering financial support to local food pantries and community organizations to help those in need. Below are just some examples.
IU #10 Central Tri-County EA president Amanda Simcoe, State College Area EA President Shai McGowan, and PSEA-PACE Chair Amy Lawrence delivered a donation to Grace Lutheran Church in State College.
Association of Mifflin County Educators President Del Fuller, Vice President Brian Wriglesworth, and Chief Negotiator Rebecca Conner delivered a donation to Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard in Lewistown.
PSEA Southeastern Region President Andrea Fink and William Penn EA Vice President Amanda Rieder delivered a donation to Interfaith Food Cupboard in Lansdowne.

PSEA President Aaron Chapin hosted “Pennsylvania Newsmakers” this week, where he talked with state Sen. Devlin Robinson about his proposal to limit student cellphone use and how it may impact learning, focus, and mental health. Later, Canon-McMillan High School teacher Chelsea Geist talked about her one-of-a-kind Zoo in the Classroom program, complete with live animal guests. It’s an episode you don’t want to miss.
