University of the Arts
The University of the Arts in Philadelphia empowers educators across disciplines to advance their teaching skills and improve learning for all students. Not just for arts specialists, UArts develops innovative and creative educational programming to serve the professional development needs of K-12 teachers. Non-matriculated courses are offered though the Professional Institute for Educators and Summer Music Studies Programs. Educators can matriculate design programs that fit their individual needs through M.Ed’s in Educational Program Design, Educational Technology, or MM in Music Education. UArts offers graduate certificates in the Arts, Inclusion, Literacy, and Technology. Flexible options include summer, evening, and weekend courses at sites throughout the greater Philadelphia region.
