Each year, PSEA provides professional development and leadership opportunities for its student members with the annual Student PSEA Conference and Convention. The 2014 conference will be held on Friday and Saturday, April 4 & 5, 2014 at the Erie Sheraton Bayfront and Erie Convention Center in Erie.
This beautiful hotel sits along Presque Isle Bay. Erie is known as the Flagship City because it is the home port of Commodore Perry's flagship Niagara. Join your friends and collegiate partners from across the Commonwealth as you prepare to chart your course for your classrooms, students, and public education.
Life's roughest storms prove the strength of our anchors. Be an anchor for public education! We look forward to another successful conference!

Keynote Address: We are honored to have educational speaker, Brandon Berkshire. Brandon will present his new Educational Program, "Today Might Be The Day." Brandon challenges student teachers and future teachers to make the connection between a student's ability to “do well” and “feel well” a priority in the school culture. The goal of his session is to ensure that every future educator realizes that “Today Might Be The Day” that he/she will potentially change a student's life. For more about Brandon please check out his website www.brandonberkshire.com.
In addition to the Conference, attendees will be able to get involved in the governance of Student PSEA by participating in the Convention/Business Meetings and Region Meetings. During these sessions, members have an opportunity to nominate, or be nominated, for state officer, state delegate, or national delegate. Members also discuss other issues and concerns important to them as Student PSEA members and future educators.
As in previous years, Student PSEA chapter activities will be highlighted during the APEX Showcase and Learning Center Programs with prizes awarded accordingly. The Lucy Valero Scholarship winners also will be announced during the conference.
