Attend PSEA's 2010 Minority Leadership Training Conference


The 2010 Minority Leadership Training Conference, themed "Rise and Shine 21st Century Leaders," has been planned and designed to meet the leadership and training needs of all participants.

The conference will include outstanding general sessions that will be open to all participants, along with three Minority Leadership tracks for workshops and sessions: Emerging Leaders, Experienced Leaders, and Leaders in Action

The conference will also include a separate track, Women’s Leadership Training II: Toolbox for Leaders, that will allow participants to self select the learning level that best meets their individual learning needs.

NEA Vice President Lily Eskelsen will deliver the keynote speech for this year's conference. She is one of the highest-ranking labor leaders in the country and one of its most influential Hispanic educators.

Members participating in this year's conference will gain the knowledge and skills needed for meaningful involvement in PSEA at every level. Participants will be better prepared to be effective advocates for public education and public education employees.

As the Association faces new challenges, it is critical that Association members are equipped with the information and the necessary tools to advance public education in the 21st century.
