Celebrate School Psychology Awareness Week

November 9-13 is School Psychology Awareness Week in Pennsylvania honors the work of more than 1,000 school psychologists working in Pennsylvania. The week includes School Psychologists Day on November 11.

Governor Ed Rendell issued a proclamation commemorating School Psychologists Day in Pennsylvania, mentioning the important contributions of school psychologists to education:

"The role of school psychologists has grown from only testing and counseling. The duties of school psychologists now include helping teachers to identify and handle learning and behavior problems to create new learning programs that benefit children of all learning styles and abilities." Read the full proclamation.

PSEA joins the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Association of School Psychologists of Pennsylvania in celebrating School Psychology Awareness week.
