PSEA congratulates new Chairman of PA's Senate Education Committee

PSEA President James P. Testerman congratulated Senator Jeff Piccola (R-Dauphin) on his appointment as Chairman of the state Senate Education Committee. Testerman said the Association is eager to work on education issues with Sen. Piccola in his new post.

“PSEA members have appreciated Senator Piccola’s willingness in the past to engage in a constructive dialogue on education issues,” said Testerman, a science teacher in the Central York School District. “We have not always agreed with him on the issues, but Senator Piccola has always kept the door open for dialogue.

“We look forward to working with Senator Piccola in the future as he assumes the chairmanship of the Education Committee,” Testerman said. We look forward to meeting with him on education issues in the coming year.”
