The map is color-coded to indicate the percentage of PSEA locals that reported settlements for the 2010-11 school year in which all the major job classifications have achieved an hourly wage that equals or exceeds the current Self-Sufficiency Standard for their county. The major job classifications for which settlement information is reported by PSEA locals are: instructional paraprofessionals, custodians, maintenance employees, secretaries, transportation employees and food service employees. It should be noted that a PSEA local union may represent employees working in only one of those classifications, all of those classifications or any combination of classifications.
