Student PSEA Shout Out!
It's hard to believe it, but we are more than halfway through the semester. The Student PSEA Executive Board has been hard at work planning our upcoming conference and other events across the state. We hope that you take advantage of as many opportunities as possible!

Cultivating Knowledge with a Seed of Passion
The 2012 Student Conference is set for March 30-31 at the Penn Stater Conference Center in State College. We have lots of professional development and fun planned! Check our website for updates or email us at students@psea.org. We look forward to seeing you there!

Climbing to New Heights
The Student PSEA Northeast Regional Conference is an excellent opportunity to learn about the field of education, network with other students from across Northeastern Pennsylvania, and interact with teachers and other education professionals. The conference is scheduled for December 4 at Marywood University in Scranton. Check the website for additional information and registration materials.

FREE Speakers for Chapter Events!
Are you looking for speakers for your chapter events? The Early Development of Great Educators (EDGE) program provides speakers and workshop facilitators for FREE or low-cost to Student PSEA chapters. Check out the EDGE website for more information or email students@psea.org.

Chapter Grants
Did you know that Student PSEA chapters are eligible for several different grants for community service, professional development, and membership development activities? In addition to the NEA's CLASS and SOAR grants, Student PSEA also offers grants. For more information about NEA's and Student PSEA's grants, email students@psea.org.

Tell Us What You're Doing and Earn Points for APEX!
Student PSEA members do amazing things and we want to make sure this good news travels! Tell us what your chapter is doing by clicking the link below and answering a few quick questions. Please, only one response per activity so we can avoid duplicate entries. Look for your chapter's event to be featured on our Facebook page or in future editions of Shout Out! For APEX competitors, an extra point is given for activities that are submitted via the survey. Take the survey now.
